Hi All, The Board of Directors has been contacted to see if the club is interested in running ice racing cars at a dirt track event September 5 and 6 dates to be confirmed. Location is the old Mosquito Speedway out on Highway 588 towards Nolalu. If we have confirmation of a minimum of 10 cars they will create the class and will be running for a cash payout. Some of the concerns: 1. Stock Side and rear glass should be removed - windshields could be taped over. Don Goodfellow to confirm) The roll cages and belts are acceptable. Please either respond to the forum or contact Don Goodfellow at 626-4814 for more details. This would be similar to the "Hornets Class" dirt cars that run at local dirt tracks in the USA - an open stock 4 cylinder class. rubber cars and maybe B cars would be the best fit. Hello can we get more info about this.
Entry fee? Will there be tech? Is there a certain tire that has to be used? All the cost to run? Is there mufflers needed or able to run open exhaust? Is there a license or membership that has to be purchased? Would like to know all info before taking windows out of car and also how much going to cost as I get married end of Sept.
Thank you Richard Randle #41

1. Entry Fee is $30.00 per car and per person entering the pits. 2. This is not a TBAC event so there is no membership required 3. The tech will be inspection of the cage seat mounting, belts, current helmet for insurance 4. There has been no talk about exhaust , so I can only assume that open is acceptable 5. Remove your lights front and rear. The glass can be taped over for side and rear - but removal would be preferred If you car gets hit they don't want any glass of plastic debris that could cut the tires of the other cars. 6. Tires are open from what I have heard - summer, winter, all season - no street studs 7. Any further questions either contact Don Goodfellow or Cameron Adomko (see summer events for phone number) 8. There is approx. 7 to 8 cars so far.
