Hi Rick, I checked with Gary Adomko, he says that if you go to mylaps.com, they offer battery powered ones for a 1 or multi year subscription, or you can check with some of the dirt guys as they use the same. No idea on the cost, but should be on their site.

Emo Speedway wanted us to have around 7 cars to go up, this was from their board of directors, and in contacting the regulars we couldn't get a 100% commitment from a few. Over the past 3 years we have been doing this, our car count has been low. It is disappointing but I guess we have to look at it from their perspective as well.
On a more positive note, Mosquito will be having their test and tune on Friday Sept 15th, racing on Sat and Sunday, this will be some good racing with a lot of our ice cars competing.
Check out their Facebook page for all the info.

Mike, we won't be doing the Sept 9th date, as mentioned in a previous post, due to a schedule conflict. John Kelly is in the process of securing another date, possibly looking at Aug 26th.
When Emo invites us to their event, we have to make sure we have enough cars, so when our club is involved in other activities, its limits the number of cars going up, we try to accommodate as best as possible.

Hi Rick that is the date of the big car show here in town that our club is involved with. We will be having a few cars on display and well as some of our members with their street sports cars. We did think about this before, but the date didn't work out. You should add your race car with some of the others for judging and display.
