The first photo is Tom Jones of Fort William racing his 1953 MG TD at Carberry, MB in 1955. I understand that he raced it in summer and winter for a few years and then it was sold to a fellow who rolled it and it was written off. My father bought it pretty much wrecked in about 1958 I think and brought it to Manitoba where it was stored and finally restored in 1972. The second photo is the car in 2011. It has been in a dry garage ever since then but I've started and run it a bit each summer. Selling my house this summer so the car has to be moved too. I would like to sell it to someone who would put it in rally or vintage racing and like the idea of it heading back to Fort William again. Well okay, Thunder Bay. I can't assess the car's condition right now. It would need to be assessed and the car evaluated this Spring. At this point I'm just wondering if anyone would be interested in it.
