I'm rebuilding the engine on my Old bulldozer. The engine is a 4 cylinder gas engine. One of the pistons was cracked and scored the cylinder wall. I need the cylinders on it honed and new pistons and rings to match. Anyone got any ideas where I can take this in or order parts from? My hone broke and is not usable...
Thanks Mike

If there not removable sleeves then I would say r+r or you could ask kettering. He might be bored.

+ 1 on Curtis' response. R & R is a good start and any of the Kettering klan are always a great source of information

there is an "old iron club" in town, with a group of older gentlemen that are into rebuilding old machines. I can get you a contact number if the others fail.

There are no sleeves in the cylinders. Going to bring it to R & R and see what they say, but if they cannot locate any pistons for me I may need that information. Thanks all

So as it turns out there was a plate ontop of the block that had the cylinder sleeves within. This plate is worth $700 John Deere order only. At least R&R going to see if they can clean it up as the score in the last cylinder isn't that bad. Thanks all
