Thanks to Your rep who came all the way down to our AGM. I'm sorry he missed our Ice Race workshop on the Saturday due to a comm error. I hear that you guys are shying away from the Menard spec type class for a home built tire. We in Minden, went the other way as the home built tires were destroying our track in short order. We moved to the Menard with great success. Less track wear and a longer season on a Land based track. We will only start with a foot or more of ice. If any one is willing to learn about the way we used to build tires with the Halliday motorcycle stud, feel free to start a thread on our forum at: www.casc.on.ca/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=28Heck you will probably get posts that are willing to sell championship winning tires, already built, on rims. BTW ... Todd, I think his name is, has dibs on my 1998 winning set of six I should have an article coming out in PRN soon. Yours on the ice... Andy Hughes CASC-OR Ice Race Director
