Yesterday - the thickness of the ice was checked in several locations to verify load safety - 34" to 36" - 24" at the outside mouth. - Thanks to Cameron, Todd, T-Bone, Rocker and Junior Thursday - at about 3:30 there will be a heavy equipment loader on site donated by Makkinga Contractors and operated by our own Rob Eves - 97. Thanks to Scott Bruce, Rob Eves and John Makkinga . Cameron will be operating the plow after 6:00. If the track is not finished on Thursday night, Rob has confirmed he will bring the machine back out to finish the track on Saturday . - One or two plows will speed the process on Saturday - so if you have a plow call Cameron @ 630-2656. There will be an update Friday on the progress, but with our fingers crossed we should be able to hold the last race on Sunday March 2 - Don't forget about the volunteer's to be on site for 10:00 Gary Adomko

UPDATE: Feb 27 8:30 p.m. Rob Eves has spent about 6 hours on site and has cleared about 75 to 80 percent of the track. He is trying to finish with the loader tonight. He may not be able to bring the machine back on Saturday. If he can the club will have to pay for the fuel in the machine which could be about $250.00.
Cameron has also been on site plowing to clean up the areas that Rob has cleared. As of 8:00 Rob was working in the area of the back straight near the dog leg. There is still a lot of clean up and track scraping to be done.
So if you want to race on Sunday the only way this can happen is the club or track needs your help - Flag stations, timing trailer area and the parking lot requires work. Cam and Rob cannot do it all -
SO - I ask if you have truck with a plow or snow blower snow shovel - what ever - Call Cameron @ 630-2656
Also I missed a Thank you to Curtis for starting the ball with Rob Eves and Makkinga
