Just a reminder for everyone to attend the January General Meeting this Wed, Jan 5 at the Davinci centre.
This meeting is important because....
1. This is the last meeting to get your memberships before racing 2. This is the only time that you can prepay your January Double Weekend fees and save 20 bucks. 3. This is the meeting to sign up for tech inspection times and find out the location..
SEE YOU THERE!!

The race schedule has been determined for the 2011 season.
The race days will be as follows.

There is the possibility of more races if funds become available and support from the membership continues. This will be discussed after the first race weekend.

Just a reminder to get your season membership at the december meeting. You must have a current, valid membership to race. Also, the club needs the income from memberships to get the season rolling, folks!!

Tech Inspection is going to be scheduled for Jan 15, 2011. Sign Up sheets will be at the December and January General Meetings. Location TBD.
Just a reminder to the rookies... Your car MUST be teched to be able to race. There will be a $40 charge for doing it at the track on the day of the race IF the tech inspector has time to do it.

I am trying to develop an accurate email list. So if you give me your email address, you will get reminders. As people sign up for memberships and provide an email address, it will get added to the group and meeting reminders will be sent out. This is better than sending it out on the forum, because then the right people will get it. There are a ton of forum members that are not club members and it is just a waste of time to do it that way. But, having said that , A meeting reminder will go out in Announcements on the forum as a reminder next week.
Thanks,
Christy

Yes seemed like the previous manager didn't relay our monthly general meeting dates to anyone.
I spoke to the president the following day, and informed him of our room rental costs, and the days required (gen meetings), our Sunday plate cost for both volunteers and racers.
The banquet has been confirmed as well. Everything is booked and is ready to go.

Hello everyone, just heard back from our track guys. We are good to go for this Sunday.
Gates will be open from 10am to 12 noon, practices until 3:30 or 4pm $20.00/car Our gate person will be at the main gate to control the traffic, no spectators allowed unless part of you're crew.
We will have time trials, and Pete will have the radar gun
St. John's will also be onsite.
(Curtis to answer you're question it is a insurance requirement for liability reasons)
thanks John

Hello everyone, Warren and Rob will be going out to the track tomorrow after work. Even though the weather has been cold there still could be slush under the corner banks.
In the mean time I would like those interested in coming out to respond to this post. If we do not have enough people interested, it would not be cost effective for the club to run the day.
thanks John..
